Newborns

Are best photographed between 5-10 days old, booking while you are pregnant is best.  We pencil in your due date then contact me a couple of days after baby is born and we can make plans for your shoot.  The shoot is approximately 3-3.5 hours long.  I try to get you home as soon as I can but I work at babies pace and led by them as to which poses I do.  The studio is about 24-28 deg, as baby is mostly naked and we need to keep them warm and sleepy, it seems to have the same effect on most Dads too!

I normally start with sibling and parent photos, then the siblings can head off with Dad for a play in the park or cafe date down the road.  Then Mum can sit back and relax with a cuppa, and get to drink the whole cup before it gets cold, while I work making beautiful memories for you.

There are two packages,

Simple Session: where baby is wrapped and nappy stays on, this is about 1.5 hrs long, this is $150.

Ultimate Session: baby session is $250,  session is as described as above.

Session Fee: covers studio, photographer, assistant, use of wraps and props and viewing appointment

Milestone Sessions, Sitters & Walkers

All babies are different and sit and walk when they are ready.  When your baby is ready for this session let me know and we will make some plans.  I have to work fairly quickly with these shoots as they tire and become bored quickly.  The session is again led by them and can go from 20-60 mins long.  It all depends on the baby and their personality.  Sitters are done in my studio and I prefer to get walkers out on location where they can explore and show their personalities.

Maternity

This is an amazing time, I loved feeling my baby moving and kicking.  This shoot is best done from 34-36 weeks before you can become uncomfortable.  We can shoot just about anywhere for this session.  It is really up to what you want, it can be the beach, a woodlands, river.  We can also include the rest of the family in this shot.

I have a number of beautiful gowns you can choose from as well as your own personal more casual outfits.

Families

Whilst I mainly concentrate on babies, it is always fabulous to see how my families have grown.  I prefer to do these shoots on location around HB somewhere, we can work out what suits your family best.  The session is approximately 90 minutes short.
